In Lakshmi's words.

Lakshmi has packed kumkum for three generations of pilgrims. Salem turmeric, slaked lime from her own pit, sandalwood-attar finish — no synthetic colour, no chemical fixative. Her daughter Kavitha hand-labels every tin.
